I had churrasco salvadoreño and it was amazing! The pupusas were not greasy and they were generously filled, I would buy them again. The Beans empanada was OK, the plantain dough tasted like old plantain so it wasn't very yummy but the beans were tasty. The yuca frita with chicharrón was good but the chicharrón tasted and looked more like fried beef but it was still tasty! Overall 4/5 and I would come back again!

Food is delicious and the service has always been great. I have never had a problem when visiting. I think the only con is how long they take. So be prepared to wait.

Great food and excellent service. We love this place, it’s very familiar and they always take well care of us, especially of my 2 years old daughter, they make sure she gets her food first and fast. The best options for us are the different kind of pupusas and the soups. More

They act like they are the only one who can make pupusas. They are rude unless your a man. They take forever to make your food and if you order take out it's like a 2 hour wait. The food isn't that good, mid at best. They act like they have a Michelin star when they're a basic papusa place. More

I had a disappointing experience here. I specifically requested bean pupusas without cheese over the phone. The person taking my order claims she read the order back to me and that I approved it, but either she didn’t say it, or I didn’t hear it—I honestly do not remember hearing her say that. When I arrived, I noticed I was charged for an extra bean and cheese pupusa that I didn’t order. I politely pointed this out and asked her to remove it. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, the employee argued in a rude tone, insisting she had read the order back and I approved it.
I reminded her that I had clearly stated multiple times that the bean pupusas should have no cheese. Eventually, she removed the extra item, but her passive-aggressive attitude continued even after I tried to diffuse the situation by saying, “we must not have heard each other.” But she continued blaming me. What does she gain from arguing with a customer?
On top of that, the place was mostly empty. The bean empanada I ordered the beans were very dry, just like my bean pupusas. My family did enjoy the revuelta pupusas, but at $4 each, I don’t think the quality or service justifies the price. After reading other reviews, it seems like poor customer service is a recurring issue, which is sad because they can have so many customers if they just treat their customers better. I’d rather go to El Amanecer by west little York or La familia pupuseria.

I love going there for the pupusas! I always get the Cipote plate which is eggs with vegetables, fried platin with Salvadoran cream, and your choice of pupusas (I get cheese) 😁 the service today was great today! Usually they do take a little too long to come around and check on you. But over all it's good place! …

Don’t order from this place 1. Expect to wait for a long time for your food 2. No customer service at all 3. 9/10 times they will not get your order correctly and if you say something the blame you SMH. I ordered bean and cheese pupusas and got bean only. When I called they actually put the cook on the phone which argued with me and blamed me. Seriously the owner needs to jump in and assist I don’t think she cares about her business. This is why the restaurant is always empty but still does not explain why they take so long to get your order ready.. yes im 100% it was your location and the correct restaurant.

We're always ready to try new restaurants near where we live, so we decided to try a Salvedorian restaurant for breakfast.
The restaurant itself has a pleasant atmosphere. It was well decorated, and we were actually surprised how fancy it looked compared to what we expected from the outside.
We were immediately seated by the hostess, and a friendly waitress greeted us and took our drink orders.
We both ordered the Breakfast El Cipote along with a couple of house coffees. The plate came with eggs, 2 tamales, 2 pupusas, refried beans, and refried plantains. The pupusas were good, nice flavor and cooked nicely. With that being said, everything else was average, and the tamales were actually not that good. They were mushy and bland, and there was very little meat that wasn't flavorful.
Coffee was nice and hot, and the staff was attentive and friendly, but $60 for breakfast for two with average food is a one and done for us. We wish we had a reason to come back. Unfortunately, the great staff couldn't make up for the lack of value for the money and average taste of the dishes.

This was first time here. The popusas were really good! I had one with fajita and one with Chicharron. The pastelitos were good but too much grease left in them. The plantains were not my favorite but that is just my opinion. They have a wonderful green salsa it is the best. Will be back.

I ordered from this location yesterday without any issues, but today I was required to pay upfront. When I inquired about the change, the staff explained it was because I had ordered 10 popusas. However, I had placed an identical order the day before for the same amount without needing to pay upfront. The customer service was disappointing, and I've decided not to return to this establishment. The food quality also didn't meet my expectations."

Popusas are great! When ordering to go not enough salsa that go with the popusas. Made an order of 15 but only received three little tubs. When I asked for more they said I need to buy the extra sauce. The larger one is $.50 cents. I don't get how three little sauces are enough for 15 popusas.
